Using the Tools Drop Down


The Tools drop down is a list of Tools designed to make certain processes faster and more efficient. To use a particular Tool select the Tools drop down and while holding down your mouse button drag the curser to the Tool of your choice and release the mouse button. There are also quick keys associated with the first 10 items that are displayed to the right of the Tool.

Description of each Tool.

1. Register – Takes you to the Product Registration web site
2. Import Wine List From My Wine Collection 1.0 – Allows you to easily import your wine list from a previous version of My Wine Collection 1.0.
3. Import Wine List From My Wine Collection 2.0 – Allows you to easily import your wine list from a previous version of My Wine Collection 2.0.
4. Perform a Custom Sort – Allows quick access to performing a custom sort.
5. Unsort – Removes the sort status of your wine records and returns the list to the order of entry.
6. Find- All Checked Records – Automatically finds all wine records that have a check in the check box to the left of the record on the Wine List. This lets you easily find those wine records you checked.
7. Find- All Wine With Status “Cellar” – Automatically finds all wine records that have a status of “Cellar”.
8. Find- All Wine With Status “Drink” – Automatically finds all wine records that have a status of “Drink”.
9. Find- All Wine Out Of Inventory – Automatically finds all wine records that have a quantity of less then 1 bottle.
10. Find- All Wine On Shopping List – Automatically finds all wine records that are on your shopping list.
11. Add- All Wine Out Of Inventory To Shopping List – Automatically finds all wine records that have a quantity of less then 1 bottle and adds them to your shopping list.
12. Edit- Varietal List – Takes you to the Varietal editor.
13. Edit- Currency – Takes you to the Currency editor. Once there type the symbol for the currency of your choice.
14. Back Up – Export your Wine List to a back up file.
15. Import Records from Back Up – Import the exported records from your back up file.
16. Recover – Recover a damaged or corrupted file.
