Option 1: Import at First Launch of My Wine Collection 2.0

1. When you install and launch MWC 2.0 for the first time you will be asked if you would like to import your wine list from another version of My Wine Collection. If you choose to do so you will be walked through the process of locating your wine data file.

NOTE: It is important to know the location of your MWC 1.0 or MWC 2.0 wine data files ahead of the import process. The best way to do this is to do a find on your hard drive for either "MyWine.MWC" for MWC 1.0 and "MyWine.MW2" for MWC 2.0 and copy the data file to your Desktop or Documents folder so that you can easily locate the file when asked to do so.

2. After you choose to import, you will be asked which version you would like to import from.

3. If you choose to import from version 1.0 or version 2.0 a second dialog box will appear asking you to locate either the MyWine.MWC file for MWC 1.0 or MyWine.MW2 for MWC 2.0.

4. Next you will be asked to locate the file on your hard drive. Set the Show: option to All Available, locate the file and click the Open button.

5. Your wine data will be imported.

NOTE: If you are importing from another MWC 2.0 data file, the application will automatically quit after import. The program did not crash. Simply re-launch the software to begin using.
